Malossi carbon reeds for the original valve. Carbon reeds allow for changing the engine characteristics. Thin reeds - better acceleration. Thick reeds - better performance at high revs. Another advantage: while steel reeds can break, causing catastrophic damage to the engine's innards, this won't happen so easily with carbon reeds.
