The oversize variator from Stage6 - the optimal complement to the Stage6 oversize torque driver. Bigger CVT systems are becoming essential parts for race and midrace engines, extending the whole range of transmission.The Stage6 R/T variator has revised roller curves that have been optimised for usage with R/T engines and accommodate weights in a size of 19 x 15.5mm. The result is a very homogenous rev characteristic that effects the complete acceleration phase. The precise surface angles have been achieved using CNC technology and the surface has been treated with a ceramic conversion coating, which prolongs the surface structure and roughness. Shot-peening, as it is done with pure aluminium pulleys, is therefore not necessary - it only becomes necessary when the coating shows noticeable signs of wear. The centre area of the ramp plate has been reinforced and the sintered guide piece offers optimal lubricating properties. Includes roller 19x15.5mm 3.5g.
